Anundoram Borooah Laptop Award Scheme 2019 :
Anundoram Borooah was the first civil servant from Assam. On his name an award was introduced in 2005 as Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme with the sole aim of enhancing healthy competition amongst the student community and to help them to enrich their perception through up-to-date knowledge and information with the help of IT education. In this scheme the government of Assam is providing laptops to the students of class 10 whose result is very well. From 2017 it was revised to 75%, but before that there was 60% to be obtained by a student in HSLC and AHM Examination which was conducted by SEBA to eligible for this award. Every year Secondary Education Board of Assam, in short SEBA conducts High School Leaving Certificate and Assam High Madrassa Examination for students who are reading in class 10 and also this award is presented to those students whose performance is very good in this examination.

This scheme only covers students of Assam and who passed their class 10th examination under SEBA. Since 2017, the process is quite easier as compared to earlier because the Government of Assam is started the online procedure for eligible students. All details including eligibility criteria and application process is updated below along with official notification.

Percentage & Marks: Students needs to secured star marks or 75% marks.
Passing Year: 2019
Education Board: Students must need to be passed under Secondary Education Board of Assam.
How to Apply for Anundoram Borooah Laptop :
Students who have fulfilled above mentioned criteria they will be able to fill an online application form by following below given steps. Without application no one will be eligible to take this award.

Enter your Roll Number, Total Marks & Submit.
Fill all asked details and upload required documents as below mentioned.
HSLC or AHM Pass Certificate duly attested and counter signed by the Head of the Institution from which the applicant passed out in PDF file format.
A self attested recent passport size photograph of applicant in JPG file format.

1) Starting date of Online Registration: 6th November 2019
2) Last date of Online Registration: 1st February 2020 up to 5 PM
